This builder role is for someone comfortable moving across the stack, making pragmatic architecture calls, and shipping production-ready code on tight timelines.
About the role
What You'll Do - Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across frontend, backend, database, and APIs - Translate product requirements into technical designs and working software with minimal hand-holding - Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and review others' code for quality and performance - Use AI-assisted development tools to speed up coding, debugging, testing, and documentation — and know when not to rely on them - Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security - Integrate third-party APIs and services (payments, auth, cloud storage, messaging, etc.) - Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers in an agile environment - Own deployment and basic DevOps tasks (CI/CD, monitoring, cloud infra basics) - Debug and resolve production issues with a sense of urgency Experience & Traits - 3–5 years of professional full-stack development experience - Track record of shipping features independently in a startup or fast-paced environment - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills - Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities - Good communication — can explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
What you'll do
- What We're Looking For
- Core Technical Skills*
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Frontend: React (or Vue/Angular), modern CSS, responsive design, state management
- Backend: Node.js (or Python/Django/FastAPI), REST/GraphQL API design
- Databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis)
- Version control (Git) and collaborative workflows (PRs, code review)
- Cloud basics: AWS/GCP/Azure, containerization (Docker) a plus
- Nice to Have
- Experience with SaaS products or recruitment/HR tech
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Exposure to AI/ML integration (LLM APIs, embeddings, RAG pipelines)
